Comment / Timing her arrival perfectly with a break in the clouds, HZ-ANC floats towards runway 23.

Comment / This A319 ACJ of the United Breweries Group, VT-VJM, has been in and out of Stansted a fair bit recently. Here she is on final for runway 23 on an overcast evening as KFR11.

Comment / D-AKNF is one of a number of new logojets for Germanwings this summer. This scheme, advertising Park Inn Hotels, is perhaps the most eye-catching of them all.

Comment / The lack of any sunlight makes it difficult to bring out the classy silver scheme which adorns Norwegian's LN-KKZ. First delivered to Cameroon Airlines in November 1997, this Boeing 737 classic is not yet 10 years old. Between 2002 and 2006 she also sampled life in South America, as PT-MNL.

Comment / Eastern painted up this SAAB 2000 in a special scheme to promote Aberdeen City and Shire in spring 2006. Personally I think it's a bit of a let down! Seen arriving at Stansted on a charter from Berlin.

Comment / It always good to see the Saudi Triple Sevens at Stansted. This aircraft, HZ-AKB, arrived just minutes behind a Saudi Cargo MD-11.

Comment / This Boeing 737 of 1991 vintage is previously TC-SUR of SunExpress and HA-LET of Malev.

Comment / EI-OZA is one of three Air Contractors Airbus A300s which are seen at Stansted on weekday evenings, feeding for FedEx. This example started out as SX-BEG with Olympic Airways in 1981, before joining L'Aeropostale as a freight hauler in 1999. She still flies in the basic colours of the French carrier, despite joining her present employer Air Contractors some five years ago, in April 2002.

Comment / This Falcon 50 wears a discreet livery except for some small Château La Tour Carnet titles.

Comment / Beginning a short take off roll on Stansted's runway 05.

Comment / Holding for a departure from Golf Bravo whilst the runway was temporarily closed. ATC saw suspicious fluids vent from an arriving Gulfstream but a runway inspection found nothing on the tarmac.

Comment / Currently wearing the very last remnants of the Channel Express livery. This Quick Change Boeing 737 is based at Stansted operating cargo and passenger charters, now with Jet2 titles.
